    Arctic muslims
Out of interest what do arctic muslims do to fast? In the extreme north (or south), you can conceivably get days, or even weeks where the sun never sets (at the poles obviously its six months). So Im thinking of regions like scandanavia, greenland, Northern canada, alaska and northern russia where the sun doesn't set for days at a time in late june.

Good question. Surely Allah would have considered this unlike human beings who may have decide to create a religion and not know enough about the world so didn't think about such issues.

To my understanding they either go by the nearest country where fasting is biologically feasible, which by the sound of it would be something like Canada or Russia.

Either that or they just go by the time in Saudi Arabia and use that.

I'd imagine they'd go by daylight hours in mecca.

    Find me a verse.

EDIT: or anything like a hadith etc, i.e. something that signifies that this was not influenced by todays society.

Am I the only one who hummed 'I bet that you look good on the dancefloor'

tbh does seem like evidence of a man made religion, the creator of the universe would have spotted the problem and left instructions with his last prophet surely?
