I find it it interesting (and slightly sickening) how the views on the raping of a man, differ to that of a raping of a women, look at those comments on that artile (and indeed many on this thread), most are are trying to make jokes about the event, if it had been a women being by 6 men, would there be any jokes in that comment section?

I dont, but most women not born into a culture where this is natural would find this incredibly demeaning and disrespectful to women. Especially because there are no cultures where it is acceptable to have more than one husband so this is a very sexist thing.

And evidently these women werent very happy with the situation.

Also in african and middle eastern countries, especially in rural areas and villages most women dont have any choice about who they marry. They are under control of their fathers and husbands. You can even see this in evidence in the relationships and every day issues thread, where every week it seems there is a girl asking advice who is being forced into a marriage with a man she doesnt want to marry or doesnt know.

All I'm saying is that you have no evidence that these women we were forced into the situation they were in, yeah maybe their fathers recommended the husband to them. But that still doesn't prove anything because each situation is different and you can't generalise everything from a few specific cases. Yeah the situation you describe happens often, but not all the time.

And you keep on asking whether any guys would want to be part of six husbands? Well, we still don't know whether all these women were forced into this marriage, so regardless of our answer it'll prove nothing.

Besides there's one major detail you're forgetting which topples your argument from the legs it stands on. These women...... kinda took his life away, you know murdered him, killed him. So if they were capable of doing that what would have stopped them from walking away from this marriage if they were that unhappy.

Its obvious that it was something he did that caused them to do this, not the fact that they had this marriage forced upon them in the first place.

I understand your anger. But my anger has depleted to the point of me not caring anymore. After the thread about women raping men, and the endless retarded posts saying "if a man got an erection he must of consented" i gave up hope. Of course they are I am not denying that. But so are jokes about HIV/AIDS, Cancer, death, murder, crime, woman abuse, man abuse, poverty, racism, etc etc etc.
