Joint honours - French and what else (?)
Hello
I'm hoping to do a joint honours degree with French and another subject in Sep 2013. My AS levels are:
French - B
G&P - A
English Lit - A
History - C (I dropped for A2)
and I hope to get French at a B, and ABB - BBB overall (possibly AAB if it was a good day!).
I'm just wondering which subject I could pair it with? Or which french joint honours degrees people could recommend?
Thanks

Re: Joint honours - French and what else (?)
It's not up to anyone else, it is up to you, what do you want to do? You could pair it with either English or Politics if you enjoy your A levels, and if not you could maybe try Linguistics or start up another language such as German, Spanish, Italian, Russian etc. There are lots of possibilities but the best thing to do is just research different university courses and apply to the one which is most appealing to you

Hope this helped, I'm wanting to do German Joint Honours but I can't decide what to do with it either, but will probably take my own advice now, it's easier when you're helping someone else!

Re: Joint honours - French and what else (?)French and Politics seems absolutely perfect for you, or even Philosophy (you don't have to have taken it, just read around and see if you like it - something like Stephen Law's The Philosophy Gym is a great start).(Original post by bluegreen)
