Lapses in judgement are usually in my eyes related to alcohol and not being able to think straight. Knowing full well that you are cheating on somebody you "love" and who will be hurt, with a married man, is disgusting. There's no excuses for that.

I don't know any of the gossip about her either, but if she has a history of cheating... well. She's more loathsome than I previously thought. A lapse in judgement is a mistake you make once, not multiple times.

I do feel bad for Pattinson, though. I can't imagine what it must be like to have a magazine with photographic evidence tell you that your girlfriend has cheated on you and is scum.

Edit: on that Tumblr link it says that they kept stopping whenever someone went past... they were both well aware of what they were doing.

I mean the fact that there were pictures, really guys? Couldn't have been a bit more discreet? The pictures were so clear and numerous I thought they were screen grabs from an upcoming movie or something.

Fair enough. Though to be quite honest, we have no idea what these people are actually like. As I said to another user, the closest we get to being able to form an opinion on their character is perhaps an interview on Graham Norton? The rest of all tabloid fluff that you pick up in your glossy mags. It's all just guess work.

It just strikes me as illogical and a little unfair that you're so willing to make such apt judgements about people's character without knowing them. And the sexism bit came from my intuition that you perhaps wouldn't have been so surprised if it was a man cheating, but I suppose that's speculation on my part.

He's really not lost out, and if she's going to cheat on him she should be treated like a leper as far as dating goes. That said, the director is the worst one, with 2 kids, its not even like his wife has let herself go. I don't think I could ever do that if I had kids, divorce her if things aren't good, but don't wreck your family.

I don't see how people can back track like that, the way she describes it as an indiscretion, its not a moment of bad judgement, thats and unforgivable act. Its not like you snog someone and then realise the consequences, you ****ing well know and think stuff them.
