Whether you think cinema died with Hitchcock or only got good once Michael Bay started blowing up helicopters, this is the place where moving pictures are discussed.

FrightFest London 23 August
Hello guys

This year it is the 13th FrightFest in London, attracting and screening some of the best movies in the genre. This year the movie lineup is amazing, with some great new directors stepping on the scene.
If you have never attended the fest, you definitely should. There are good movies to see, you have the opportunity to ask the directors and producers questions after the movie, get a couple of drinks and relax
I suggest you to go and see The Seasoning House on 23 August which is also the opening movie of the FrightFest. This movie is the directorial debut of Paul Hyett. This guy is the UK's most famous special makeup FX designer, won awards for it in the past, so you can imagine what the movie will be like
)
Maybe you have seen his works in The Descent, Centurion, Eden Lake, Doomsday....
Here is the link for the FrightFest, and another one displaying the movies.
Ok, hope to see you there!
Cheers

Re: FrightFest London 23 August
I'm going on the sunday of that week, think its the 26th or something. There is film they're showing called Dead Sushi which looks mental, from the makers of Machine Girl and Robo Geisha. Can't remember what else is showing but I know its good either way, my friends turn to book this year.
I also went there last year, saw Innkeepers, Saint and Kill List, I'm a huge fan of a horror genre. I don't like most mainstream horror but I like independent horror myself. one of the main reasons I go there -
