Upper Hope Place, Liverpool, 2012Hi, I move into one of the self contained flats in Upper Hope Place in September s just thought I'd put it out there and say hi! I'll be a 3rd year student, I'm studying Maths at Liverpool Uni, please say Hi if you are staying in these halls, it'd be nice to know who my neighbours will be! Hope to hear from you soon, failing that I'll see you in September

Looking into this accommodation for next year. I had too much trouble with shared accommodation this year and would like my own space!
Can any of you post a picture of what your flat looks like? They don't have any that show the self-contained on the website!
Also, typically what do you pay weekly towards your accommodation, I know the rent is £75 a week, but what about your water, electric and internet?

Re: Upper Hope Place, Liverpool, 2012Well I currently pay £32 p/m for electricity, although, I am in credit so it might cost you a little less - approx £27.
Also I pay my water bill in two instalments over the year of about £105 each, which works out to be roughly £18 p/m.
We do have gas central heating, however that isn't paid by us. It gets turned on mid October and off again mid May.
I do advise when you first move in, to buy an electric heater because before they turn the heating on it can get really cold in the room. This means during the first two month your electric bill might be a bit more, not by a lot though. -

Can't wait to have my own space, can't be living with people again, this year has been hell.
Any chance anyone putting pictures of the flats up? I've asked can i have a viewing but Cosmo said not until July and there is no pictures on the webpage :/
