Why would it be an achievement? It's not like she discovered a cure for cancer or graduated from Uni...

I don't think it's an achievement, it's just a thing..


Although she's a 'white indian' - as in she has the pale indian complexion which is seen as more attractive in India, still a good thing to have more multi-culturalism.

If anyone's 'offended' by a woman appearing in a porn mag because she's of the same race as them.. they need to take a bloody reality check

People still read playboy? This sounds like a cheap publicity stunt to sell magazines to me, the article even says that readership numbers are falling. Surely there are many nationalities that have not appeared in playboy.

genuinly thought it was going to show me the pictures. anyway it could be seen as an achievement to be accepted/asked to pose on something thats so big. its just as much as an achievement as making it to the front page of any other magazine.

To be fair, while it isn't like she's the first Indian to go into space, being in an unusual position like playboy does show a step towards having other races mixed in sinking deep enough such that it has reached unusual places perhaps?

The main thing in my mind however was " hefners still alive?"

I'm indian. I don't have any problem with what she's doing and simply could not care less. It's not an 'achievement'.
