From a previous similar thread we established you're not allowed to tell anyone how much you earn as part of your contract.(Original post by Frank Nero)
I was made a partner by youtube two weeks ago and I can now monetise videos.
Who else is a partner and how has your experience with it been? Any advice and tips for more views?
I look forward to hearing from you.
It sounded a fat waste of time unless you 'make it big'.

I can monetise as well. I hope do something with it such as upload gameplay content.

Basically I got about 300,00 views on this and then I could monetise. So far I've made £30 from this video alone so hopefully I can get some money from making videos, although this one was unmonetised because somehow someone was able to put in a copyright claim. I didn't know they had copyright in 1980s Russia. -
Re: Youtube Partners Report InI don't get what you're saying tbh.(Original post by Snagprophet)

You made £30 from what? that video link you posted?
you then went on to say someone claimed a copyright claim and the video was unmonetised?
please explain mate

Re: Youtube Partners Report InIt uses adsense, so when you are granted monetisation you are allowed to link it to your adsense account. So when you monetise it it puts a little advert onto it. However you aren't allowed to use copyrighted content, i.e. films but videos of games isn't copyright because you have to play games to get the full experience.(Original post by mangoh)

I don't know who filed for copyright on the trololo because it came out in Soviet Russia where there was no copyright as far as I know. -

alright I understand about the films part but I'm pretty sure games falls into the category of being against copyright unless you are part of a gaming network such as machinma?
