    PGCE Questions
    Hello,

I have a couple of questions about the PGCE that I'm struggling to find answers to online, and was wondering if anyone here could help. Firstly, I'm considering studying in Scotland; are the PGCE and PGDE completely interchangeable?

Secondly, I have been looking at the bursaries offered for students studying the PGCE, and was wondering if anyone knows what 'English Language and Linguistics' would come under in their categories; it makes a big difference if it's classed as 'English', or whether it's something different!

Also, am I right in thinking the bursaries are only offered if you study in England?

    Thanks

It would come under English. Be aware that the bursaries are not guarenteed to stay the same for next year also.
