I received the email from the uni explaining about the issue with people who put QM as their first choice and have put Victoria Hall down as an alternative choice, but really don't feel like there was much information provided about it at all. Hopefully, if I can't get QM, I'll be staying there.

I applied for QM as my first choice and VH as second, but as the previous poster mentioned, QM seems to be the most popular choice because of its standards and location (and it does not house as many students as the other places). I received the same e-mail a few days ago, and if I still want QM as my first choice, I was not to respond to the e-mail, so I didn't. Hoping for Queen Margaret, as Victoria Halls is pretty far from Hillhead.

I will be a 2nd year so i have lived in halls already. I stayed in QM. Was very good. I have been to victoria halls and i thought it was a bit of a mission to get to uni as you would have to get the subway. Unless you are a dentist, where the dental school in on sauchiehall st.
