    Need bike help?!
    Hello

I'm looking to get a new exercise bike soon and was wondering if anyone has any specific recommendations for me. I'm hoping to keep it around £500 but if there's an amazing one for a bit more i might get it

    Thanks for any help

Get a proper bike and cycle to work / uni instead of getting the bus? You can also get things that convert your bike into a stationary bike http://www.thefitnessstore.com/trainer.htm

Alternatively, you can almost always pick up exercise bikes from car boot sales very cheaply (honestly I've seen them for £1), although they are unlikely to have all the same bells and whistles. Gumtree is also a good place to look. Exercise bikes seem to be the sort of thing that people buy when they are having good intentions and get fed up of quite quickly (presumably because they're deathly boring) so it's a good idea to pick up a cheap one first to check you actually like it.

Tbh when I made this thread last night/this morning I was half asleep

I do already have a road bike and I do about 100 miles a week on it, sometimes more depending on how good I'm feeling on the weekend

It's good that you mention the trainers, I am familiar with them but for some reason when thinking about it last night my mind was blank. Just going to look for a decent one now and it should all be god

Really it was more preparing for the winter and worse weather(Mind you in England that is all year round). I don't mind the rain or anything but sometimes I just don't feel like braving the outside and dong it indoors seems so easy

    Thanks for the help
