    Videos on studying medicine
    Good day friends,

I am a 28 year old who wishes to go to medical school in the nearest future. I wish to prepare myself ahead. Please are there any high quality video series (on subjects such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry etc) on the study of Medicine that you recommend?. The more popular, the better because i will be able to get it fast this way. Thank you

    This is an example….

Understanding the Human Body: An Introduction to Anatomy and Physiology

    (32 lectures, 45 minutes/lecture)

    Taught by Anthony Goodman
    Montana State University
    M.D., Cornell Medical College

    Hi,

Although I do not have a reccomendation in terms of study of medicine I can recommend Junior Doctors: Your life in their hands by the BBC, it is a series in which you follow junior doctors throughout their day and they talk about the experience.

In my opinion this is better than studying the anatomy. You're enthusiasm is commendable but you study the actual details of the course... on the course! If you are looking to go into medicine perhaps the series mentioned would be more suitable preparation, especially since you are spending thousands of pounds on the course!

Thanks a lot for your kind reply. The BBC series you mentioned will be interesting to watch. What i really need is adequate preparation materials if they exist on the study of medicine. Money is no object. It is the knowledge i stand to gain that matters. I am going for a September 2013 entry and since i would already be a bit advanced in age i need to be prepared for the adventure in a class of younger students with faster mental reflexes. Thanks for your help
