    Actuary positions abroad
Hi, I'm a recent graduate looking to get an Actuary entry-level position - I'm not overly concerned about location and would be more than open at the possibility of working abroad.

Are there countries outside the EU that are willing/active in taking on Actuarial students from the UK? I've studied Actuarial Science at LSE and came out with a First so feel that I could really kick on with a good firm in the field. I'd very much like to pursue a career abroad and was hoping people on here may know if certain countries have significant demand for actuaries or simply countries that have Actuarial firms that will happily sort out the relevant visas/documentation? I'm leaning more toward USA, Hong Kong, Australia or the Middle East to be honest, but would be very interested to hear what others have heard or read about this.

Any help and advice would be very much appreciated.

Sorry negged you instead of clicking quote. There are lots of opportunites outside the EU, particularly in Asia and Africa. Malaysia, Taiwan, HK, Singapore, Nigeria etc. Many UK Actuarial students who are from said countries, tend to qualify here and then go back home to work, it can be quite competitive.
