yeah pretty much! GB women have done well to break down their defence. Hopefully see more goals as the game opens up and Cameroon go for goals.

Do we have a chance against Brazil? They annihilated Cameroon.

I've been disappointed with the quality of the woman's football team. Expected a lot more. They have some good touches, decent technique, but passing wise just seem to be lacking a bit.

GB Women are playing fantastically! Everyone else doesn't seem to be playing at the same high level, but it's relatively new Internationally, so it will get better with time.

    Bring on more Women's football!

To be honest, this I think is more intriguing than the men's tournament because this tournament is essentially a second world cup. The qualifying criteria is strange with some confederations using the World Cup and some having their own qualifying tournament. Germany who are twice world champions and have won every single European Championship since 1995 failed to qualify because they were knocked out in the world cup quarter-finals.

Good for Great Britain to reach the quarter-finals, which given their world cup record you would probably have expected as a minimum before the competition. now if they finish runner up it's likely to be between Japan and Sweden, both who though would be tough are beatable.

Great win, Houghton has been in great form. Shame for Kelly Smith about the penalty though.

Going to be very tough that, USA regularly beat us. Can see a medal though which would be a huge achievement for the team.

We beat Brazil. Nobody saw that coming. I was there at both opening matches for the group in Cardiff, and had we played Brazil that day, they'd've wiped the floor with us tonight.

The GB womens football team are the only football team I've chosen to watch. It's the only time i've felt some form of engagement with football. Unlike the men, they don't roll around on the ground in fake agony. If they get hit they were straight back on their feet. The only drama is from the skills and tactics they use, such as kicking the ball backwards in the Cameroon game.
