Re: Three weeks today...
I remember how nervous you feel, but nothing you do will change the marks you got. Don't focus on them until a couple of days before results, then go through all the university websites and see their clearing lists. Make a note of the university, subject and the clearing number just so you're prepared for clearing should you need to enter it. It'll make your day easier and FAR less stressful.
You'll be surprised which unis are in clearing, so unless you've done terribly, you can still get a place at somewhere decent. -
Ahh yes, I hadn't thought of doing that but I will do! Hopefully won't need clearing but it's better to be prepared for the worst I guess!(Original post by kat2pult)

Feel like all I'm doing is waiting; although I'm strangely excited for results as I know how much they'll change my life for getting into university!

Re: Three weeks today...
That's precisely what I thought!
In those words. To be honest, I am pretty much quivering, because I could literally have gotten anything. I do, however, want to get it over and done with, since it's been like a 3 month wait, and I've almost forgotten the exam questions.
Good luck all, don't freak too much, you will all do fine.
We went through it for GCSE, we can go through it again for A Level. -
It's weird how one piece of paper is basically going to decide our lives for the next few years. I want it over with also, feel like we've been waiting forever! The wait is by far the worst, even more nerve-wracking than the exams themselves!(Original post by Mollymod)

Hoping I get what I need to get into my first place course! -
Im probably about 70% confident I have, but anything could have happened. :P(Original post by JoshhB)
I'm not nervous i'm 99% sure i have gotten in to my First choice, however i just want to be at Uni. The Summer is so boring, i'm not working and just want to start Uni now.

I agree though, summer isnt too good this year! Although I hope after results day it may get better cause we'll have guaranteed things to look forward too

The wait is the worst haha(Original post by Jadrian)
So glad I did a BTEC, my Uni already has my results, though I don't know what they are exactly. I'm not a patient person at all, the wait would have killed me by now.

I have done my BTEC however, i haven't heard anything from my Uni so i'm guessing they haven't got them, i hate waiting aha.(Original post by Jadrian)

Haha, trying to ignore it! Still don't know whether I want to go to University this year so exam results being so close is kind of nerve-wrecking.
Ah that's okay then, hahahaa :P(Original post by siwelmail)
