Re: 2012 Hungarian Grand Prix
Hamilton!!!
good stuff, shame Button tactics were off though, I think he should have stayed out as he was keeping Vettel behind and overtaking is not happening here, but ah well, Hamilton I think is much more likely to challenge for the title this season anyway.
summer break will be torture, 5 weeks of no F1!
only consolation is new football season soon!

Re: 2012 Hungarian Grand Prix
WOO I FREAKIN' LOVE KIMI
What speed! Climbing his way from 6th and with no KERS in some parts! Driver of the day for me, amazing drive.
Disappointing from Lotus, both reliability and the piss poor (and I mean PISS poor) pitstops. Hamilton's +4 sec one was bad enough and they still couldn't take advantage of it
Great race from Hamilton, well deserved and it's been his since Friday really, been on top form throughout.
As for Alonso.....CHAMPIONSHIP LEAD EXTENDED **** YEAH!!!
I can go into this summer break with peace of mind

Re: 2012 Hungarian Grand PrixThat's what I was thinking(Original post by MrAlex95)
Kimi to win SPA going for win number 5 there !!!!!!!!
We're in Iceman territory next. But Lotus in the cool temperatures of Spa? Not sure they'll have the performance, although the track does naturally put in a good heat cycle into the tyres so might not be a problem.

Indeed hope we get a thrilla at SPA not a bone dry race, Im an Alonso fan so im happy Hamilton won today less points for Vettel. Apart from SPA i think Alonso has won all the big races/ classics on the calendar in his carrer.
Hope Mercdeds will be stronger too .

Re: 2012 Hungarian Grand Prix
Great racing from Kimi and a pretty good job from Hamilton not to make a mistake under pressure, just a shame they couldn't have had a real fight. Overall though I enjoyed that. Except this was my face when Placido Domingo came onto the podium
not that I have anything against him, I was just confused to see him.

Kimi's adds fuel to Ferrari rumours: "You never know what happens in the future"
It would be great to see him at Ferrari, McLaren or Red Bull, in a world class outfit worthy of his skill.
I personally think out of the top teams he's most likely to end up with Red Bull, if at all. -
Re: 2012 Hungarian Grand PrixMay be a month between races, but 2 weeks of that the factories are totally closed for any development work and/or production because of the (stupid leave-stealing) shutdown.(Original post by James A)
IF McLaren out develop Ferrari over this month with new parts (the big upgrades tend to come around singapore), then hamilton has a good shot at winning a couple of races and more importantly, bite into Alonso's championship lead. -
Re: 2012 Hungarian Grand PrixFrom what ive heard Alonso is very pleased with the new Ferrari package as its been in the pipeline for awhile. He called it agressive. Im more worried about Lotus more than anyone else. They will have there refined F duct and ive head new diffuser/rear end of the car(Original post by James A)

Shocked as to how Schumi, with years of experience, could make such a schoolboy error! -
Re: 2012 Hungarian Grand PrixRead something that suggested Kobyashi stopped short of his pit area briefly causing schumi to stop further back and then kobyashi then pulled forward to his correct position. Still a big error, but not entirely his own doing.(Original post by F1Addict)
