    Hey all

I'm currently in my first year (going into second) at the University of Manchester. I sorted out my housing and everything for the next academic year, but sadly I've got to take at least a year out (2012 - 2013) of university as my boyfriend's recently been diagnosed with Leukaemia.
This means that the lovely house I'd be living in now has a spare room, so we're looking for someone to fill it. It's just off Hathersage Road, which is opposite Whitworth Park. It's about a 10/15 minute walk to the university campus (it's hard to find accommodation much closer!) and about a 5 minute walk to the shops, which include Tesco, Superdrug, Lidl, Subway, etc. and the infamous Curry Mile. There is a bus stop nearby, where you can get a quick 5 minute bus right into the city centre, where there is an amazing shopping centre, restaurants and connections to Old Trafford, and an even quicker one to the train station. Manchester is renowned for its amazing nightlife, so in terms of nights out, the house is approx a 20 minute walk or cheap, 5 minute bus or taxi ride to any of the nearby clubs.
It is a 3-storey, 4 person house, that is fully furnished, with a separate living room with leather sofas, lovely clean kitchen and a shower room and toilet. The advertised room is spacious with a double bed, wardrobe, storage space and workspace.
The cost is £75 per week, plus about £8 a week for bills - which added together is still cheaper than all the student halls and most other student houses!
The housemates are 3 lovely 19-20 year old girls, so we're preferably looking for another girl, but if there's a guy out there brave enough to live with 3 girls then he'd be welcome to! And don't worry, 3 girls doesn't necessarily mean a squealy girly househould - they're all very down to earth. The house is a calm, warm, friendly environment with the capacity to work quietly as well as socialise when the time's right. You would preferably have to be a student also - postgrad or undergrad, it doesn't matter

If anyone is interested or has any other questions, feel free to contact me.

    Thanks
