Re: What was your first games console?Hahah, sounds almost the same as me! Except minus the N64, add in gameboy advance SP. And DS instead of PSP.(Original post by . . .)
I had a sega megadrive after that too. Then it was a N64. Then a PS1. Then a Gameboy colour and then a gameboy advance. Then Xbox. Then PS2. Then PSP. Then I kind of stopped playing video games slowly.
I still have the PS2 and PSP. I'm going to sell the PSP and buy a atari or sega megadrive.
I still play now but not as much time, sadly. Although I have just managed to convince my dad to let me take the ps2 back to uni with me. Timesplitters, yeeees
Nice
I still have the atari and the megadrive but need a new scart lead. Ps1 is ...somewhere.

SEGA megadrive? How old have are you people!?! LOL -
Re: What was your first games console?
In order:
SNES
N64
Dreamcast
Playstation 1 (first time I properly got into games)
Gameboy Colour
Playstation 2
PSP (1st gen)
Playstation 3
PS Vita
I think I enjoyed PS2 the most, it was such a leap in gaming and has epic titles. I probably spent more hours on the Gameboy than anything else though, it's what happens when you become obsessed with Pokemon.
EDIT: By the way for those who may not know, if you're missing the old school consoles you can get emulators for your pc and play all the games

Re: What was your first games console?I kind of long term borrowed the N64 so it wasn't really mine. I think my mum threw the megadrive and atari out. I don't think it was working properly so my mum threw it out. Evil woman. I even had one of those old TVs which I use to play it on. http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs29/f/20...Only_Stock.jpg(Original post by siani-chan)

If she kept it I would have probably been able to fix it and play it now with all the free time I have. Retro gamer FTW!
I was thinking of buying a xbox 360 but then decided against it as I thought the new next gen consoles will be released next year probably. -
Re: What was your first games console?
My first was a third hand gameboy advance, with super mario 2. I was a late starter as far as consoles were concerned. Managed to break the aforementioned gameboy by smashing it into my forehead in frustration when I couldn't complete a level, cried for a week.

Re: What was your first games console?Aw, that sucks! (tbh my mum would have done the same but my dad would usually fix things before she got to them). I'm laughing so hard right now, we had a tv like that too(Original post by . . .)

Yeah probably but it's an ideal time to pick one up cheap before the release of the new ones - surely the new gens will be too expensive anyway.

Re: What was your first games console?
So in order of getting the games console in my timeline
Sega megadrive I have faint memories of playing one game but i cant remba its name since i was probally around 3-4 years old at the time.
PS 1 I fondly remember spending hours playing rayman
when i was around 4-5 years old and i remba it was just released and i got so happy that my mother got it for me.
PS 2 first game played on this was pro evolution I think.
Game boy Color (Pokemon
)
PSP First game i started playing on this was Fifa
Nitendo ds First game on this was big brain academy.
PS3 First game i played on this was resistance fall of man which came with the console, i logged the most hours on call of duty modern warfare 2 now that was bloody ace.
I had a sega megadrive after that too. Then it was a N64. Then a PS1. Then a Gameboy colour and then a gameboy advance. Then Xbox. Then PS2. Then PSP. Then I kind of stopped playing video games slowly.
