    How well respected are the media and graphics design courses at Leeds Met?
    I've heard some bad things about Leeds Met, but I didn't want to go to a traditional red-brick uni because I wanted modern facilities and buildings since I am doing quite a modern course (Creative Media Tech).
    However, I am slightly concerned people will scoff at my degree...

    Honestly; it doesn't matter where you do a Media degree, it will carry the same amount of scoff, for better or worse

    Ahah, I guess it's not exactly Aerospace Engineering...
    I guess I just wanted to know how Leeds Met's Media courses compare to others.

    Look at the actual facilities for yourself... Just cos people call a uni 'redbrick' doesn't mean the entire place is a working museum of victorian education.

    why dont you do mechanical engineering, than specialise in design?
