General will put you to sleep. Local anesthetic will numb that specific area but it's not used just to help with an itch, unless you're taking a layer of skin off?

I highly doubt you would feel ticklish. I'd imagine if you did feel ticklish while under local anaesthetic it would be more due to psychological reasons. When under local anaesthetic, you shouldn't feel any pain at all due to all the nerves in the locality being blocked. Tickling and pain both require the nerves to sense which wont be possible under local anaesthetic. You will merely feel the pressure and movement exerted by the doctor.

Well I'm having a minor procedure today under local and the area is extremely ticklish so would it still feel ticklish once it's been injected?

Hope it went well. My skin/mouth or wherever I've had it injected always tingles but never tickles and you can never feel anything. If you can tell the Dr immediately and they can do something about it.

Thanks I had it done this time last week and it wasn't ticklish at all! It was the weirdest feeling ever though!
