    shoulder clicking on pull downs?
yesterday i was gymming it up and when i was doing the pull downs for my lats, my right shoulder (though i wouldnt really class it as my shoulder, it was more the back/shoulder (at the top just below the neck but on the right side).

It kept clicking! Is this normal?

Also, when i do my triceps push downs, it really hurts my chest even though im sat back normally and stuff. Is this normal cos i dont wanna collapse my chest lol

What kind of weight were you lifting, heavier than normal? My shoulders crack and click occasionly it doenst worry me, just take some joint support vitamins and it might go away.
Never heard of doing tricep push downs from the seated position, try them standing?

Shoulder clicking on a pulldown sounds like impingement, normal and somewhat common. If it isn't causing you pain, I wouldn't worry about it.

My elbows click like crazy when I do lat pulldowns. I wouldn't worry unless it causes pain.

Normal? It may be common but it's certainly not "normal".

Impingements can lead to an array of shoulder problems, many (most) will require surgery to fix if you ever want to return to sport/lifting. Ignoring them until they cause pain is just asking for trouble, get fixing them, now.

I suggest you start looking at some shoulder stability exercises, you don't want to let an impingement go untreated, trust me.

It's probably best if you research the exercises yourself so you can learn some while you're at it, but if you need help with exercises just ask.
