The inbetweeners is coming back!
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...th-series.html
Yes, YES, YESS!
I recently started watching the 3 series again on Netflix and its just so ****ing funny, it's had me in tears at times, the creators are geniuses and the acting is brilliant.
Anyone else ridiculously excited about this?
FFS, I've just read that one of the creators has denied that its coming back and basically said that it was made up. Journalistic standards? Do me a favour, these idiots have about the same standards as the moral ones of someone who will break into a family's home and excrete on their precious ****ing cat.Last edited by theonefrombrum; 27-07-2012 at 02:49. -

Re: The inbetweeners is coming back!
Feel bad for the creator assuming the rumours of a forth series are total lies (I still have slight hope the writer is denying it until it's set in stone,) he's now going to look like a bad guy for disappointing everyone with the news there won't be a forth series, when it's the Star's fault for fabricating a story.

Re: The inbetweeners is coming back!because they wouldnt be 'inbetweeners' anymore?(Original post by mc1000)
It would, in theory, be an awesome idea to just follow the four Inbetweeners in continuing ongoing series as they get older and make their way through life.
In practise though, just wouldn't work. -
Re: The inbetweeners is coming back!In a way, yes they would.(Original post by NuckingFut)
because they wouldnt be 'inbetweeners' anymore?
The ultra-popular people at school generally become the lowest of society in the real world. The ultra intelligent, anti-social and autistic 'losers' at school become the best of society - far more likely than anyone else to go into high-powered jobs or become top-class academics, thereby positively progressing society (there are of course exceptions; I can't see Big John doing a PhD). The inbetweeners of society, however, are likely to become neither - undertaking 'standard', maybe degree level employment (especially in the case of the Wills of this world); with the Neils and Jays perhaps becoming caretakers or something. But at the same time, even the lowest 'inbetweeners' in modern society don't sponge benefits off the taxpayer; neither are they generally chavvy. That's people like Donovan.
So, yeah, I think their status as 'inbetweeners' would still be relevant.
The only reason a fourth (fifth, sixth etc) season wouldn't work is because more than 3 series typically ends in disaster. America has proven this time and time again. Needless to say, they'll do this with their own bastardisation of The Inbetweeners...Last edited by mc1000; 27-07-2012 at 03:40. -
Re: The inbetweeners is coming back!haha completely, just wiiiishing that it's all to keep everyone hushed and then suddenly explode the series back on our screens with maximum excitement(Original post by justanotherposter)

More: http://www.metro.co.uk/tv/896496-the...---says-writerThe Inbetweeners fourth series is total b*******, says writer
Buckley, who played prone-to-exaggeration Jay in the E4 series, reportedly spoke to the Daily Star about the possibility of a fourth series of The Inbetweeners and said: 'We have to see what happens.
'Maybe one of them dies and the other three have to join up for the funeral. But the question is: who are they gonna get rid of?'
But now Iain Morris, who co-wrote the series with Damon Beesley, has slammed the article that claimed James confirmed the series, suggesting it was 'totally made up'.
After being pestered by fans on social media site Twitter to reveal whether The Inbetweeners was indeed set for a small-screen return, Morris snapped: 'is "total b*llocks' succinct enough?
He then added that, while the original story claimed Buckley spoke to the Daily Star while he was in America, he hadn't actually been there since last year.
