Re: Depressed after drinkingPromote it? I merely stated my experience.(Original post by Anonymous)
Sorry but I couldn't do drugs, not with all the horror stories floating about. And you really shouldn't promote it :/ it's still an illegal drug :/
You sound very naive about drugs. Yes, drugs can potentially be very destructive only when the person chooses to let them be. You must have seen a night out/party where people are spewing their guts up, passing out etc; why is that seen as acceptable?
Life is about moderation. -
Re: Depressed after drinkingyeah you are right, i've been brought up in a family full of medics and nurses and so I guess the fear is just natural to me.(Original post by soutioirsim)

Re: Depressed after drinking
This happens to me quite a lot, regardless of how much I eat/drink water after I've drank. I miss being younger and not getting hangovers. You could try drinking less alcohol?
In the morning, I tend to have a good cup of tea and bowl of soup (I can't eat anything solid after a night out because I get really sensitive teeth - does anyone else get this? Sometimes it's lasts for a few days), and watch a TV series I really like. -
Re: Depressed after drinkingAll the people I know that have had the wildest times and done the most awesome, unexpected things, they have completely the opposite attitude to this. It comes with a risk, obviously, but you casn't just say 'life is about moderation' because it simply isn't true.(Original post by soutioirsim)

What kind of a life. -

Re: Depressed after drinkingYou have a very good point. I would probably say that life is about moderation when it comes to drink/drugs, I landed myself in hospital from my drinking last year and it changed my view.(Original post by Mister Dead)

On the other hand I'm a very keen cyclist which I definitely try and push to as far as I can go. The same with my studying last year, I tend to do things to the extreme. I think I would prefer to say that life is about balance then! -
Re: Depressed after drinkingi never get drinking with my family :P , with my mates i enjoy it, but with my family i cant bear ir(Original post by Dark Horse)
Yes OP and it was often accompanied with a horrific hangover to boot. However, I don't drink anymore unless it's a family occasion.
sorry, i just saw the big contrast :P
something that helps me a little OP is to drink like, 1/2 pint of water - a pint of water before bedtime and it just helps mei n the morning
also, going back to sleep when im bound to wake up early and sleeping in my own bed too
