    Anyone get into Nottingham although they missed the grades?
    By about 20 ucas points?

    You hoping to get in Sept?
    I am,and my course said they can be lenient by a little bit. But it'll obviously depends on how much places they've filled and how my final grades compared to others

    Yeah to do American Studies...think I've definitely blown it though!

    Im hopefully doing environmental science. I know the grades will be close,will be gutted to miss out by a few marks

    Yep they just let me in, I couldn't believe it! I think my personal statement was good though.
    Don't worry too much i'm sure it'll go ok

    A friend got in for history (AAA) with AAC and my girlfriend got in to English (AAA) with AAB so it seems common less applicants maybe and whatnot.

    I got A*BB, they most probably saw my UMS scores on the last papers for physics and economics as I lost basically half the UMS in each of them but I had very high A's in all the other papers. Got an A* in Maths. Needed AAA for masters and they just demoted the course to Bachelors (AAB). I'm like w/e.
