    Breaking: Terry charged by FA
    TheFA.Com

After seeking advice from an external Independent QC, and having considered the evidence and Magistrates' Court decision in the John Terry case, The FA has today charged the Chelsea player following an alleged incident that occurred during the Queens Park Rangers versus Chelsea fixture at Loftus Road on 23 October 2011.

It is alleged that Terry used abusive and/or insulting words and/or behaviour towards Queens Park Rangers’ Anton Ferdinand, contrary to FA rules.

It is further alleged that this included a reference to the ethnic origin and/or colour and/or race of Anton Ferdinand.

This charge is the result of The FA’s long-standing enquiries into this matter, which were placed on hold pending the outcome of the criminal trial, and relates to rules governing football only.

During this period John Terry remains available to play for England.

Terry has until 3 August 2012 to respond.

The FA will make no further comment during this time.

John Terry has denied an FA charge announced today (Friday) and will be requesting the opportunity for a personal hearing.

This seems more like a precautionary measure by the FA not to alienate black football players more than anything else.

I assume, going by the FA website, that having an interest in someone's sex life would be deemed offensive. He called Terry a derogatory word that's used to describe a female bodily part so I don't see why that cannot be considered offensive. A bit amusing Anton taking a moral highground. His parents have different surnames so I assume he's born out of wedlock? If that's the case may be Terry should just have called him a dopey bastard instead.

I'm looking forward in seeing Rio Ferdinand being charged for his 'choc ice' tweet. If not, then perhaps racism is a one way street after all.

Racism is a one way street? ... What...? At least try and pretend you are making sense.

Laughing at a comment does not make your action racially insulting, abusive or anything of that sort. It makes you stupid and insensitive etc, which can be punishable in itself, but it is nothing to do with racism.

It's a feeling among several Britons. One such case in Leicester, a group of Somali women seemed to have got off the hook over anti-white racist slurs in a court case

    Your stupid rhetoric as usual.

So if I watched the play, The Minstrels, and laughed my ass off you would not consider that as potentially abusive? Okay then.

    Yep.

Yet again, you prove you do not have a clue what you are talking about.

Tell me, every comedian that makes a racist but funny joke, is every person that ever laughs at that to be considered as being racially abusive? No.

Then we have a different stance on racism. There's no such thing as a funny racist joke.

What do you study at Plymouth?

You have to be a special kind of person to think finding a joke about racism funny means you are being racially abusive

Not by the law or by actual logic is that true at all, bless.
