Re: I have £7000 - how can I invest it?Honestly if this was me with this money I'd do just this, or at least with 5k of it and invest the rest. Memories > money.(Original post by bestofyou)
you could travel around the world. It would be an investment in memories and experience. You would come out on the otherside with no money yes, but you would be one of the richest people in the world. -
Re: I have £7000 - how can I invest it?
Depends how much risk you want to take. Risk::Reward.
Safe option is to bung it in a high interest savings account (some bank will give you bonuses for keeping it in for x number of years).
Another option would be to invest in a blue-chip company on the stock market (but you need to do your own research to decide which are your most viable options).
Loads of other things you could invest in so I suggest you just do more searching. -

The economy is rather awful... if it was me I would buy gold. It very rarely decreases in value, and over the years will become a more and more finite resource, so will probably continue to increase in value, you could resell it at a high point. Also, that way you won't have to worry about your shares or savings account failing.

I know of a certain Nigerian Prince who would be able to quadruple your investment, all he needs is your bank account details...

In this event I am of need of an short term loan, to which I will be very happy to repaying you with a 1% share in my $6,000,000,750 buisness. I will require your bank details for me to initiate a direct cash transfer. It is irrelevant how much moneys you have in you're account, all though a minimum of 1000 euro will be required. Paypal will not be satisfactry because it is a very unsecure website which will steal your details and money.
