I don't really care if it's only 2-3 people.. or heck even 1 person. There is plenty to do in London..
If you go then there'll be at least two :ahee:

I was at uni... well, on placement. I only broke up from Uni two weeks ago. I go back to Uni in 4 weeks so I should probably stop moaning, and I'll be complaining then that everyone else is still on their summer holiday while I'm not. Haha.

I hate being at home at weekends too. I don't really have any friends in my home town any more so it sucks! Even my parents are going out tonight. Eurgh.

It's never too late to go to Uni! It is a lot of money, I'm always poor! It is a great experience though, but it's not for everyone.
I wish I hadn't gone to Uni until the age I am now. If I could do everything differently I would have got a job after college and worked for a few years, then gone travelling, then gone to uni.
    Ahh wellll, never mind.
Ha yeah, enjoy your freedom Where do you live?

I know it isn't...And even though I'm a bit older than the average student, I reckon I'd fit in pretty well I'd be getting on for 30 when I graduate though and surely society would dictate that I should be heading towards the peak of my 'career' by then

I honestly didn't feel 'ready' until I was heading towards 24, I sometimes wonder what sort of person I'd have been now if I'd gone at 18 like everyone else...I've experienced so much over the last few years, I know I wouldn't have done any of this if I'd have gone to Uni. So in some ways, there's no regrets.

Ohh I definitely am enjoying my freedom! Although I feel all guilty like I should be doing work as I have a hand in date in the first week of September.
... I shouldn't really be bored then should I.

    I live just outside London.

I started my course when I was 20 meaning I'll be 23 when I finish. When I lived in halls in first year, there was only one 18 year old in my flat. And there are plenty of 30 year olds on my course! There's even some that look like they're getting on for 50!

I don't think I would have been ready to go to uni at 18. In some ways I feel like a different person now! So uni has changed me a lot (for the better I think). But yeah, I wish I had gotten experience and stuff before uni. I don't have any regrets either though.

Yeah, I see it as invaluable for personal development. When I was 18, I saw Uni as a 3 year Ibiza-style holiday, I thought people were going just to get drunk and laid. I thought I was 'better' than that and didn't need to 'waste' £10,000+ on it. I could get a job without a Uni education  What a stiff I was. I was like an old man. While at the same time I was a little kid, still really dependent on my family and not wanting to leave my pets behind. I think if I hadn't come from such a working class family, my mum would have shoved me out of the door with my suitcase and told me to get on with it. Yeah in retrospect, I'm hugely regretful for not going, but I was very set in my ways.

And tbf, I didn't know then what I was gonna do with my life and I still don't!

Jump on a train to London, there's lots to do there Exhibitions, museums, gigs...

It is like a holiday... until you realise you need to do studying and stuff, and that you actually need to buy food and can't just survive on alcohol. Ha!

Ohh I still don't know what I want to do with my life! When I was applying for unis I had no idea with what I wanted to do so picked something that sounded interesting, and while I do like my course I keep on thinking, do I really want to do this for the rest of my life?! And no, I don't think I do! So better off not going to uni than picking any old course! Although my course is free (paid for by the NHS), so I won't be in so much debt when it leave

I have been thinking about going to London. But that costs money. I don't have money... and the little bit of money I do have I need to save to pay my rent in a months time. But yess, I will make a few trips to London now and then.

This is why I need a job. But no such luck!

Ha, dang. I was never good at studying Too lazy

So what are you studying then? Honestly, if I was going to go without a specific career aim, I would study something Media Studies related or perhaps Psychology related. Perhaps even a science...Biology, Chemistry, Physics...I don't think my A-Levels would stand up to many of those subjects though. Wouldn't touch IT with a bargepole, even though that's what my job is now.

Pah, why can't life be like a video game, I wanna load up at the last save point and do the last few years again, but differently.

lol I'd say life is exactly like a game without the save point though.

Me too. I was never good at studying because I'm too lazy. But recently I thought, I actually want to do well so I worked my arse off in the year just gone and I don't think I've ever worked so hard in my life! Haha. And now I actually know what hard work feels like.

I'm doing Diagnostic Radiography. If I could chose again I wouldn't chose something so specific! I know plenty of people doing IT! It seems to be the people that study IT at Uni who can't get jobs after and end up working in MacDonalds because there aren't enough IT jobs for IT people.

That would be good! If life was like a video game we all wouldn't have to get proper jobs either! Or a time machine. Then we could go back to any point in our lives that we wanted to. Or to the year 3000 But life is all about making mistakes

I woke up late. Wore pyjamas all day. And watched films.
Sounds like a good lazy day. But I've been doing this for the last two weeks and now I am bored of it.
And it's a Friday and I'm stuck at home all night. Eurgh.

    I need a job!!

At my current rate of spending, I've got enough saved up to do it for the next three years.

I saw something hilarious today. It was in the children's toys section in Poundworld. And it was a do your own vajazzle kit.
