Women's GB football team doing well in a pretty good game (putting aside some heavy tackling from Cameroon).

2-0 up with 20 minutes left.

    :sigh:

I think we lost in the archery as well :ahee: Looking like Team GB will get no medals today.
****. I'm having such a blonde day!!! I didn't mean that. I meant Bradley Wiggins!!!

    *bangs head against wall*

    WHY DID I SAY CAVENDISH?

    Moron.

And yeah, we're not doing so well today.

    I am such an idiot...

Cavendish did not win the tour de france. Also the tactics were spot on GB had to chase the breakaway to catch it so that it would end in a bunch sprint. However not enough teams shared the same goal; as a result after 250km the 4 GB domestiques were spent. Unlike continental races the teams are substantially smaller which only makes it harder to chase a breakaway. There was no more they could do, they cant stop breakaways forming.
I know! I just re-read that post. No idea why I put Cavendish, I knew it was Wiggins!! God, I am such a moron. One of those moments where you go off-track in the middle of typing and end up writing what you're thinking at that time.

    Why am I so stupid?

Also, why exactly where we expecting the foreign teams to help us out? I don't get why they'd want to help Britain when they'd clearly want their own medals.

Do you know why he isn't? I would have thought winning Wimbledon doubles weeks before the Olympics pretty much secures your place in the national team.

Keothavong looking like she's about to be knocked out too.

I feel a bit dejected after today's events.

Team was picked before Wimbledon unfortunately.

Meh, there'll be other days The volleyball was awesome (even though our men's pairing lost).

Incoming overhype from Garry Lineker for Miley in the swimming.
