Cheap good camera for uni
I want a camera that is fairly cheap, preferably under £50, but can take decent photos... any suggestions?
What do people think about this: http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/vivitar...24943-pdt.html

I've got myself a similar one to the second link and has been reliable through out my first yr of uni...if u get one that takes batteries I strongly suggest buying rechargeable batteries of a good brand
This was posted from The Student Room's Android App on my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio Z715e -
Re: Cheap good camera for uniI don't want to spend more than £50(Original post by Camoxide)
Might as well get a second hand iPhone 4. Can probably pick up an unlocked one for £200. Camera is fantastic for a phone.
Or even better a 4S. -
Re: Cheap good camera for uniThe idea is you get a decent phone as well as a good camera.(Original post by number23)
I don't want to spend more than £50 -
Re: Cheap good camera for uniOP said quite specifically that they're on a 50£ budget...whats the point of suggesting something for 200£? OP didn't mention anything about wanting a phone(Original post by Camoxide)
The idea is you get a decent phone as well as a good camera. -
Re: Cheap good camera for uniWhatever you get, I'd personally suggest something with a lithiom ion rechargable battery - last longer and you don't ever have to bother changing batteries, as normal batteries run out VERY quickly when using rechargable batteries.(Original post by number23)

Other than that, there aren't too many differences with the rest of the extreme budget cameras -

Decent phones have decent cameras. -
Re: Cheap good camera for uniYeah that's logical(Original post by dgeorge)
Who said OP wanted or needed, by your definition, a "decent phone"?
And btw, a 50£ phone would have far more capabilities and power than most even high end phones -
Re: Cheap good camera for uniI meant camera....damn you train of thought!(Original post by Camoxide)
Yeah that's logical
Its editing time -
