why not russia or china? they have a much more peaceful record than america.

why shouldnt americans care about the outside world? the invade enough of it

the world does not need america to police it or impose its culture on nations, it is disgusting american politicians believe thye have the right to do this.

utter rubbish, hitlers fate was sealed when we won the battle of britain and he invaded russia, with or without america we were safe and nazi germany was done. learn some history

yeah lets just let poor people die from easily treatable diseases, that really fair.
Because Russia and China have both killed tens of millions of their own citizens in the relatively modern history. And not only that they are both very militaristic Russia invaded Georgia only a few years ago and China is still occupying Tibet. And for all these "imperialistic" wars that America fought such as Vietnam and Korea are you not aware Russia and China fought in both of them but i assume it is ok because they were fighting for communism.

And America has one of the best healthcare systems in the world for quality of service but they believe everybody has an individual responsibility to look after themselves rather than depend on the state to babysit them. However from reading your dreadful arguments I fear some people might not have the brain capacity to look after themselves.

When did we invade Nigeria and Norway? :lolwut:
I was simply listing countries that have had casualties recently.

But if you were referring to countries that Britain has recently invaded I'll start from there.

If you're actually gonna sit there and try and tell me and everyone else that a montage dedicated to those dead civilians in those countries you mentioned is actually appropriate for a London 2012 Olympic opening ceremony then you're more loony than I ever imagined.

What is that stuff you're smoking? I wanna try some.

Why "must" we respect people just because they're dead?
The 7/7 bombings happened the day after it was announced we got the 2012 Olympics and that announcement is the reason London was targeted by the bombers that day.

That's why there was a memorial section.

There was a silence during the Pandemonium segment for those who had died in the two World Wars and in all wars since. The memorial wall was something separate.

I think it was a coincidence. They plan these attacks long in advance.

In your opinion they have better international records not really in truth.

The NHS leaves people to die because they deem some drugs too expensive to buy and I don't see you crying about that.

The victims of the Afghan war are irrelevant
The victims will always be irrelevant to people like you.

I'd like you to see you go up to a Jewish family and say that their relatives who died in the holocaust are "irrelevant". You wouldn't because people would agree it's a disgusting thing to say, but because they're afghans suddenly it's acceptable.

I said "The victims of the Afghan war are irrelevant to the history of London".

In the same sense, so are victims of the Holocaust and etc.

I didn't say that the victims of the Holocaust or Afghanistan are irrelevant.

    Now...stop lying and misquoting me.

How has the Afghanistan war got nothing to do with London? :lolwut: Has London got absolutely nothing to do with the UK government? the UK military? the Department of Defence? The Civil Service? The City of London? I must be mistaken. Those must be in Scotland.

I guess the victims of the Holocaust are completely irrelevant to the history of Nazi Germany. Afterall, it happened in Poland.

The Afghanistan war is not taking place in London though is it? It has very little to do with Londoners and its hardly something Londoners are going to celebrate. There was a tribute to those who had died in all wars, including the Afghanistan war, earlier in the show. The 7/7 tribute was to those who had died in 7/7. Its ridiculous having to point that out to someone.

I guess the victims of the Holocaust are completely irrelevant to the history of Nazi Germany. Afterall, it happened in Poland.
What are you on about? The Holocaust happened all over Nazi controlled Europe, including Nazi Germany. Buchenwald is an example.

I don't know why you keep on making things up that I didn't say.

I didn't say the Afghan War "had nothing to with London". I said the "The victims of the Afghan war are irrelevant to the history of London".

When people do a history of London, they are not include a section about victims of the Iraq, Afghan or Falklands War because they have virtually nothing to do with it's development.

Actually, the Holocaust also occurred in Germany. There were many concentration camps within Germany. So it is not a good example.

Neither did I say that the victims of the Afghan War are irrelevant to the history of London because it happened somewhere else. So don't make things up I didn't say.
