As far as I am aware, most science subjects are Uni. of Nottingham are well respected. I assume arts are as well, but I don't know as much about them

In terms of league tables, for biological sciences at Complete University Guide then Nottingham is 16th and has improved since last year, so pretty decent. If you have any questions about Uni. of Nottingham in general I can help, otherwise if you want to know more about biology (or Trent uni) will have to see who else comes along

The University of Nottingham has a very good School of Biology. The teaching is very good and the department does some top research. I might be biased though considering I graduated from there last year. The first year of the course you do the same modules and those studying genetics, human genetics, and zoology. The year covers most areas of biology. In the second and third year there is a huge choice of modules you can choose from to specialise and suit your interests.

I'm doing Zoology there at the moment and it is quite good. As far as i'm aware it is respected amongst employers, and in the top 20 in league tables.

First year modules are quite broad as they cover many aspects of Biology but in your second/third year you can specialise more in what you are interested in.. If you have any questions just ask
