Which network has the best signal coverage?
Vodafone traditionally has the best signal with some reporting being able to get coverage in forests, but its been terrible for me as i dont even get any signal somtimes! Orange and TMobile have teamed up to get even better coverage. Some claim 3 and 02 is excellent yet others say its not very good. So which is the best in your opinion?

Re: Which network has the best signal coverage?
If I can pile on: what are the 3G rates like in the UK? Is it cheap, advisable to get one if you have a somewhat compromised access to wifi at work/home? And which services are good? I generally tend to email a fair amount, though no large downloads. And I surf a lot: about 2-3 hours a day at a minimum.

Re: Which network has the best signal coverage?Whereas my experience is totally different. If anything what you say is more true of O2 (again in my experience).(Original post by Snagprophet)
3 has the worst coverage on the map with it only working in towns and cities.
And that is the problem with threads like this. There is no one network that is better. It all depends on where you live. -
Re: Which network has the best signal coverage?Yeah I think I said that a bit ignorently. I went on the coverage map just now and half my little town has no signal, but somehow all the surrounding countryside does? I don't understand.(Original post by WelshBluebird)

Re: Which network has the best signal coverage?
I think Vodafone / Orange generally have the "best" coverage, in that you can get /some/ signal wherever you are.
However, I'm on 3 and have had nothing but a good experience with them. On the family holiday to Anglesey, I was the only one who had full 3G signal where we were staying. Everyone else on O2 and Vodafone either had GPRS or no signal at all. My signal strength and 3G speed are excellent in towns and cities, with my 3G actually being faster than my crappy Sky broadband a lot of the time. -
