Ive been set this essay on American Politics, which is what we start next year for A2.

Did the desegregation of the ‘solid south’ lead to the apparent increasing ideological focus of both major parties, or vice versa?

And I know this is probably not the done thing on here... but I was wondering if anyone could help me... I missed a few lessons and so I literally have no idea what to write about, what to put in it, where to start or even what the question is asking me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, just to point me in the right direction (obviously I don't want someone to write the essay for me)

    Thanks xxx

And p.s, this isn't me just being lazy, I have looked it up and read through notes and stuff. I just don't have any points and don't know where to begin, if at all... This really is a last resort!
