There are plenty of shavers on the market, you'd need to think about what would make yours unique, why a customer should choose your unknown brand compared to Babyliss or something...

Thanks for the advice megan, i know babyliss is a big brand but i have an idea that makes it different than theirs, however to sell a shaver i need to create my own brand, but i dont know any suppliers or how to make them from scratch ?

The president of the make up society I was in has started her own business, I think she went to the Job Centre at our uni to get advice and they told her where to go from there. If you're not at uni maybe your college or local job centre will have an idea of where you should take it. It's an idea to somehow get a prototype knocked up which you could take to salons and contact hair product companies about.

Once you've sorted out what to do it's also a good idea to apply for a patent for what makes your shavers different to everyone else's, whether it's the shape of the handle or a specific feature. You'd have to pay for the patenting but it would stop anyone being able to rip off the design and you could be established as a trader.
