    (Beginner) Stock Markets
Can someone check if this is correct or help me understand please.

Lets say I'm farmer and lots of people buy my products... I need more to money to expand the business and to make more money.
So I trade on the stock market, is this selling portions of the business?
Lets say I need £1000, and I sell £1000 shares at £1 each, if after the expansion my sales and projected sales are good does the share price go up? (What determines the share price? or how much or how fast it changes? Lets say after my £1000 expansion - Im a bigger company now and I deal with bigger figures, my next expansion will be £100,000 is that why my share price increases?
