clearing for a HK student- agony

clearing for a HK student- agonyOk so this is the case, Hong Kong has a brand new education system and it actually turns out to be a difficult exam.
However Uk unis recognise our grade 5= A, grad 4= C in terms of GCSE levels
so the case now is that i get a 5*(higher than A), a 5 and a 4 for my exam
which is actually a very gd result
however due to the fact that UK unis look down on this crappy system,
is this result ok to fulfill an ABB offer???
and quick question, when will clearing start???
i read some posts saying it actually starts on 1st AUG???

Firstly email the universities you got offers from to see what grades they are after for your Hong Kong education system. And clearing starts on results day which is 16th August.(Original post by centregirl)

they said i gotta wait.....but i feel like i shud try on other unis first??? coz my fd said i can call some of the unis once my HK is out.... -

I know very very little about how you apply to unis in Hong Kong but did you only get two choices? In the UK we get to apply to five universities. I think the best thing you can do is contact universities via email.
