Re: If you could train/play any Olympic sport, which would it be?Yeah they're exactly the ones I like to do except I was wondering whether they were productive or not. It's just that I might want to play some Basketball at uni if I'm not gonna do anything else. The team didn't mention about trials or anything just training so I'm pretty intimidated by how good the team will be lol.(Original post by The Cornerstone)
I'm not exactly the best either
but yeah you should keep practicing, I plan to do that as soon as I go back to uni. One drill that helps me is to keep dribbling the ball while looking straight ahead and never looking at the ball, you can do this by yourself and you don't really need a court or a training partner. Another one is to pass the ball around your hips or around your legs, which is something you can do at home.

Re: If you could train/play any Olympic sport, which would it be?Not all sports are in the olympics, not all people play sports due to time retraints, and not all people are able to play their favourite sport due to lack of local infrastructure. Since the OP can't read minds, I imagine that's why he is asking.(Original post by py0alb)
In which case I imagine most people's answer would be "the sport I play in my spare time currently". -

Archery so I can pretend to be an elf.
Or the equestrian events 'cause I love horses <3
I also really love table tennis, but I always panic when playing table tennis, so I probably wouldn't pick that.
Canoe slalom also looks kinda epic.
As for winter Olympics, I really couldn't pick. They all look great fun! -
Badminton/running, I've always been a fast runner. I like badminton, it's an amazing workout.
If diving was considered an Olympic sport, I'd be in it!
If I wasn't too afraid to be a midget, possibly gymnastics. It would be amazing to feel the flying sensation,

Hockey, but there weren't any hockey teams at my school, when we finally got them to set one up, it was only for 1st to 3rd years. We'd only just gone into 4th year.

Gymnastics. Did it for a little while when I was little but it clashed with swimming. Just as well, if I hadn't learnt to swim I'd never have learnt to scuba dive so there you go.
Diving looks amazing, so does canoeing, rowing, I was really getting into the road race too. I love most of the events to be honest.
Athletics as well.
