    Newton Law Question help
    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data

    3. The attempt at a solution

    for part a) i put mdv/dt = -F(brake) - kv

    but is lost for what to put in for part b), help?

    I take it this follows on from your previous thread.

    What are the conditions at the beginning of the braking? Just write those.

    Also, k is the same as last time, and you have a value for m and F(brake), which solves the rest of the question.
