Are you doing your summer homework? Are you preparing for math and stats exam in the beginning? I am now going through Pemberton and Wooldridge. What are your successes in summer preparation?

    hey Anva
I am also going to UCL in September for MSc Economics. I have been struggling with the summer homework. It's somewhat different from what I have done in my college in undergrad. I am really confused if we'll have anytime to prepare for the term 1 exam and if it's going to be really tough. How is your prep going on?

Well, I work really hard as my undergrad also does not cover all the topics that we should work through. I am doing Pemberton with exercises but I skip Problems in each chapter as they require too much time that I don't have unfortunately. Also I started doing exercises from Degroot (Probability and Statistics part). I don't expect that I will become an expert before Sep 24 but at least I am trying to familiarize myself with main ideas and get some practical skills for solving problems. How are you working on the material?

Am also working on Pemberton. I do the exercises but when I try doing the problems its like am back to square one...during the chapter I understand the main parts but certain concepts are completely beyond me. I need someone to walk me through those step-by-step but i doubt we'll have enough time once session starts. Hopefully, i'll atleast be able to pass the test.
Maybe we can work togethor once we get there[:-bd]
    what accomodation have you taken?

As for my accommodation, I did not apply for university accommodation and I am still lokking for the one in private sector.
