What are my chances of becoming an actuary?
    hey,

i have ABB at a level (a B in my maths a level. I've just finished a 3 year degree in economics at a top 20 russel group uni and got a 2.1. I'm doing a masters in economics this year at another uni also top 20. Becoming an actuary is something i've only really looked into recently and quite appeals to me, good hours and good pay. Once the tough exams are over that is. I'm good at maths and stats, economics being a relatively numerical subject and the masters will have a substantial maths element to it.

I dont have any work experience at all though and i know the job market is very competitive at the moment and jobs are hard to come by. So basically i'd just like to know how realistic my chances are with no work experience. Is it worth going for?

My original plan was to apply for tax in a mid tier/ big 4 accountancy firm.
