Our society reduces men from human-beings to human-doings
Incase the embedded link doesn't work

Re: Our society reduces men from human-beings to human-doings
It'd be a fascinating video, if it wasn't taking down.
EDIT: Oh, so there's a second link...
It's a good video. Most likely nothing will change, as our evolutionary past has given women the role of getting to choose their mate, meaning that men will always be the one trying to woo the other sex, whatever the cost may be. Still food for thought however.Last edited by WhatsHisFace; 30-07-2012 at 19:45. -
Re: Our society reduces men from human-beings to human-doings
I watched that video the other day. I found it really refreshing.
It'd be quite ironic for me to draw massive gender-specific generalisations in this thread but I'm going to do it anyway; although women are supposedly on average more intelligent than men (probably true), they tend to shame themselves when discussion turns to the topic of feminism because they often feel compelled to defend it (out of some misguided sense of owing something to the suffragette movement perhaps?) without actually considering all the issues properly. So it is truly wonderful to come across a woman who is able to appreciate the flipside of gender inequality and speak up knowledgably and eloquently about it.
