Short Films
Whether you think cinema died with Hitchcock or only got good once Michael Bay started blowing up helicopters, this is the place where moving pictures are discussed.

Short Films
Hey guys, I just watched a fantastic short film called Elevated by Vincenzo Natali (the director of another excellent film called Cube). And I remembered how effective short films can be.
You'll find 'Elevated' on youtube in full. It's the 20 minute version. I recommend you watch it if you haven't seen it, or if you don't like short films.
Do you like short films?
If so, what are your favourites? -
Re: Short FilmsA Propos de Nice is probably my favourite so far (I think it's available on YouTube as well) but I'll have to admit I don't watch a lot of short films at all.(Original post by retrogamer104)
.
I would like to, though, so I'll check out the above! (Speaking of Vigo shorts, I liked Taris as well!)
Another one I watched quite recently and liked was Dog Altogether. I believe there are a couple of Kiewslowoski shorts on my Three Colours Trilogy package, so I'll probably be going trawling though that pretty soon.

Re: Short Films
Love watching short films (and making them too
). Think I've seen Elevated actually, but gotta watch it again. I also just got the Three Colours Trilogy (only seen one of them before) and am planning to watch the shorts sometime soon
Here's one of my favourites: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwXG-G-3e3U -
Re: Short FilmsDid you get it in Criterion? I love the amount of extras they have. I think I might be watching the shorts on it (there are four!) today if possible.(Original post by HippieInConverse)

Re: Short Films
The last short film I watched was entitled Soft, and directed by Simon Ellis:
