Re: Predicting results
English lit: A/A*
Bio: A (unless I really ****ed up Summer exam)
Chemistry: anywhere from D-B (A would be pushing it)
Art: A/B
I really don't know how I've done
results could be anywhere from ABBD-A*AAB
offer: A*AA (in bio, chem and English..so yeah...I've missed that).Last edited by Chaofan88; 30-07-2012 at 09:41. -
Re: Predicting results
I think somewhere between AABBBb and AAABBb
Maths A2 - A
Geography A2 - A/B
Biology A2 - A (I hope I did well enough in the summer exam
)
Chemistry A2 - B
AS Further Maths - b
General Studies A2 - B
Edit: Why the neg? o___0....and again, why 2 negs? :/ I'm only honestly saying what I hope I got in my exams

Re: Predicting results
I'd predict my A-level results at A*A*A (sort of cheating - I already have the first A*), my offer is A*AA, but I'd like A*A*A*. Have an A* in Maths, predicting A* in Further Maths and an A in Physics unless I really nailed that last exam (which I don't think I did).
For my STEP results, I'd predict 1, 2. My offer is 1, 1 (lower the better). I'd like a 1,1 or S,1 however unlikely that may seem to me.Last edited by Intriguing Alias; 30-07-2012 at 10:34. -
Ooh this is scary. I don't want to predict any lower than my firm, because I can't think of what I'll do if I don't get in.
French- A
Spanish- A*
English Literature-A
Although I would absolutely love to get an A* in both my languages, as long as I get my firm, I don't mind!

Re: Predicting resultsHoping A*aaaa in Maths, Economics, Physics, F. Maths, German but anything could happen(Original post by JakeE10)
See if anyone can correctly predict their results...what does everyone think they'll get? and what's your offer?
i'll start
english lang - b
economics- b
german - c
offer -bbb

Re: Predicting results
Offer is A*AA. I think I'll get an A*/A in biology, A/B in psychology (as I ran out of time in the first exam and screwed up research methods in the second...stupid AQA), and an A/B in maths (forgot a trig identity in C4 so lost at least 5 marks for sure and C3 was horrible). So anywhere between ABB-A*AA.

Re: Predicting results
My prediction of my grades changes every day. Some days, I think I've done well and others I think I've done awful!
Psychology - A*
Theatre Studies - A
Biology - B, maybe an A if AQA decide to be fair with the mark scheme for a change..
Offer for Durham is AAA and my offer for Newcastle is AAB. Hoping Durham may accept me if I get A*AB. They have clearing places for my course, so maybe a possibility? -
Re: Predicting resultsInteresting to see that you're even more pessimistic about your English Literature result than you were over a month ago: http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/show...5#post38003935

Re: Predicting resultsYeah the exam was dreadful. To be honest I've been very pessimistic about all of those, I wouldn't be shocked if I got As in the first three and think I probably have but I always go lower to avoid dissapointment.(Original post by Tullia)

I did do really well in January, so can get C in Biol, D in chem, low A's in S1/C1 and still get A's
