The big clubs are Home (student night is Union on a tuesday or Billionaire on a thursday) and Tokyo's (Lovedough on a monday). Home is really good but I personally prefer Thursdays to student night just because the bottom floor is dub and dnb not cheese as it is on tuesdays.

Smaller bars/clubs include Revs, Dogma, Kind Bar and Trebles.

The SU club (Engine Shed) has a night on Wednesdays called Fever Pitch which are usually themed.

Ritzy's is a 3 floor club which is a bit less classy but produces good nights anyway. Friday night's Superbull is MEGA busy and even though its a bit of a dive, is probably one of the biggest nights.

Just remembered, Wahoo closed down but it was **** anyway.

I've heard Engine Shed are bringing Saturday nights back this year (thank god!) with a huge national club night.

Engine Shed have got rid of 'Fever Pitch' but have come back with a new night presumably to replace 'Fever Pitch' so we will see what that new night brings.

    The usual nights out are;
    Monday -Lovedough - TOKYO
    Tuesday -Union - Home
Wednesday - Engine Shed Club Night
    Thursday - Billionaire - Home
    Friday - Superbull - Ritzy's/Pulse

There is a new night coming to Thursday's though called Vanity, so check it out at 'Vanity Lincoln' on Facebook. Big ideas coming from them to get people in. Sounds amazing so far! Can also contact me for tickets!

It's quite new and opened when term time was finishing but it's more of a place to stop off at before moving onto Home or Tokyo. My mate is bar tending there in September, he showed me the cocktail lists and they can get quite pricey so I won't be going too often! :P

Amen bro, look at their online price list and 70cl bottles of spirits are like £70+

You need to sort out where to go based on prices When Lola's do half price cocktails, that is the place to go! Okay so £1.99 still doesn't beat the £1 jager bomb but wow their pina colada is to die for... (Plus after first year my stomach repels red bull )

I've never been out on a Monday so can't comment from personal experience. But friends have told me Tokyo for LoveDough is the place to be.

So Tuesdays at Lola Lo's is £1 Jager night, and I'm pretty sure it's half priced cocktails too. (It's also free to get in before 12)

Wednesdays used to be £1 Jager at Engine Shed, but I'm not sure it will be again if they're making Saturday their day...?

Thursdays at Home (Although I'm not a Home fan as it's so big, we always end up losing someone and worrying half the night to find they've collapsed or been kicked out.)

Fridays at Ritzys for Superbull. £1 Red Bull and vodka. Says it all.

There is also Sugarcubes for the rock fans, I know a lot people hate it because it's a sticky smelly mess in there. (And the toilets are riddled) :erm: But the music is decent for rockers and there's something about their £1 sambuca shots that guarantee a good night! (Their vodka tastes of pee, don't go there)

And Walkabout, the Australian pub. Pretty underrated because it's not a nightclub, I spent the first 3 days of my freshers in there they have nice chairs where you can actually talk, the toilets are nice and there's a mini dancefloor where they usually give out free shots. Though the drinks are pub prices. - Good to note down from future football matches

I love Tokyo (Saw pendulum there) but when they do their basement nights I am definitely there! Dubstep, drum and bass. Ahh the good stuff

Think that covers the night outs. The only else left to say is PRE-DRINK, even just a little! You get to relax and drink, introduce yourselves properly to your flatmates, exchange numbers etc - Just in case you get in trouble/lost. But enjoy it, you only get one freshers(/three.)

If you have any questions, I honestly don't mind - Quote/PM me
