My insurance changed to unconditional but still waiting for an update from Bournemouth as my firm.

Any BTEC (or similar) students received an acceptance from BU yet?

Yeah! I just got my offer changed to unconditional today! Was so happy, I emailed my results to someone at Bournemouth and within minutes my offer had changed. I'm now just waiting for Bournemouth to tell me where I'm going to live. <3 doing the animation arts course at BU this September, I'm a btec student! Too anyone reading this, if you already have your certificates for whatever reason send them yourself don't wait for your college, early is better. I did an Access Course and had my results moderated mid-July. Got my offer changed to unconditional the day after I send the results in. Have paid the deposit for Student Village now as well

Hi, Shanice. What email address did you use to send your results to? I don't have my certificate yet, but I have an official edexcel document with my results on. Do you think that will be okay to send?

Yes it will be, I called up the askBUstudents, ask them and they said yeah then I told them what course I'm on and they gave me an email of a person I believed to either be the lecturer r the person in charge of the course. After that just scan in your results and send it off to the email they gave you, u ma want to also stat who you are and why your sending it, it's not crucial but I think it helps and speeds up the process. Like mention what course your hoping to join. Good luck. You can call the askBU students I believe up until 8pm so hop to it. What course u doing, if your doing the same as me I will give you the email instead.

Thanks for your advice & I'm hoping to be studying Digital Media Design. Doesn't edexcel automatically sends your results to BU? Do you know when they will do that?

They do I believe the two dates for btec students is the 17th of August and for a level students it's the 16th. But why wait... U can if it makes it easier for you , just relax, once u get ur unconditional offer apply for accomodation straight away. Lots of people will doing that around that time so I'm glad I've got that out the way. Now I just need to hear where I'm going to live and enjoy my last days with family. The reason I got my certificates early is because I kept asking my tutor and my college for them and stuff. Try asking your tutor by sending an email.

This happened to me too. My insurance choice changed to unconditional on the 16th July and Bournemouth didn't change my offer until the 26th - after I rang the university to chase it up. Give them a call and they'll put you in contact with the course administrator, who can give you an update as to whether they've received your results.

Applied for accommodation when my offer changed, but not heard anything back yet.

Yeah i did BTEC last year and i got my certificate and unconditional offer last thursday! Applied for my accommodation but not heart anything back yet.

My insurance became unconditional a good two weeks ago, Bournemouth only updated my status to unconditional on Monday. I applied for accommodation, so now i'm back to waiting for something to appear in my emails

yeah got unconditional two weeks ago I did btec aswell you just have to check with teachers if you got the grades then they will forward it over to the uni

Just to update, I was just being impatient. Got my Conditional about a week ago and received confirmation that I'm living in Purbeck House this morning. See you all in September

Got unconditional two weeks ago i did Btec, applied for accomodation same day got a reply a week after along with 2 other mates, and all applied for student village, i managed to get my accomodation placed in student village sadly for my two other friends they weren't so lucky, and got offered unilets (but they got a good deal in my opinion).
