    Clearing help
On results day, the time i have been told to get my results is 9.30 am. I dont know if i can view if i made it to my firm or insurance choice on track, so should i buy a copy of the telegraph and then get my results at my sixth form or can i get my results online?

You can't see results online - Track will only update to show if you got in or not. And it may not update before 9.30, especially if you need to leave early to get to school.

Get a copy of the telegraph anyway - if you're not in Clearing then it wont hurt - you can always pass it on to someone in your school who needs it.

Plus it's always worth a look on the way in to reassure yourself that even if the worst does happen there are still places available on interesting courses and good unis.

UCAS are saying it will be live from 8am - it might be a bit before then but certainly not before 6am. It's been nearly 10 years since it went live (accidentally) at midnight but the rumours persist

They went live (and stayed live) by mistake one year (2003 I think)

The year after they went live for about 5 mintues at midnight before they realised and someone switched it back off again.

Track will tell you whether you have got into your firm, insurance or neitherr.
I found out last year that the link on the UCAS website was useless. I tried signing in for 5 minutes and got nothing. Somebody on TSR posted a different track link (it may be worth trying to find it), and when I signed in on the sixth minute, I found out that I'd got my firm.
Helpful hint: It's pointless checking track before 6am. The earliest I have seen a person check successfully is 6am.

    Good luck to you all.
