Cant make up mind on where I want to go next on my "musical journey".
So to speak.

Basically during my youth at school I mastered the Clarinet (got to Grade 8 and all that). Now I am out of all that and heading to uni in a number of weeks and I cant make up my mind on what to do with music next.
I don't want a career in music or anything. But along with English music has always been my second academic passion and I wouldn't mind having a more, shall we say practical instrument to possibly join a band or whatever and expand my musical vision.
Problem is I can't make up my mind and stick to it. I have an electric guitar I've had sat in my room for 4 years that I've never touched and cant seem to get the energy to learn over Youtube videos (Yeh I've got no money for lessons).
I would really love to be able to learn and play the Piano well as I'm obsessed with the band Queen and Freddie Mercury. However I can read music and I know all the notes on a piano from my Clarinet days, the problem is moving my fingers fast enough and all the music theory that comes with Piano (Music theory was the reason I never wanted to go on and do music at uni. I sucked badly at it), learning all the chords and chord progressions and inversions etc etc etc. Not to mention to buy a Keyboard or piano of any reasonable worth is very expensive
Then we have the bass guitar that I've mildly dabbled in my thoughts due to it apparently being easier than electric guitar.
Oh and finally I've also thought about the process of recording my own songs. I have no idea if I can sing well tbh. I know I am not tone deaf because I can differentiate between notes and know when I am singing the wrong ones, but dont know if my singing voice is up to scratch. So just to complicate it even further id love to get into all the Garage band recording stuff.
So all these ideas are floating around in my head and im trying to pick one.
Any Advice would be much appreciated.
