    Stalling on push ups
Im on holiday ATM so I'm just doing push ups when I'm out the gym. I decided to give the 100 push up thing a whack. here

I'm already failing though. O start with I could do about 12, maybe 3 sets. I'm just starting week 2 and I'm struggling with the last set or so, I managed 14, 14, 10 them tried my next set of 10 afte 3 minutes rest and couldn't do 1.. My triceps just bail out, dont reslly feel it in my chest though.

Form is pretty good I think. Just further than shoulder length apart, straight back, nose hits the floor then elbows lock out, elbows close to body. Diet is fine, 3k kcals or so and 160g plus protein. Been taking a day off in between and the I took 2 days off between week 1 and 2, 8+ hours sleep a night.

    What gives?

Maybe your putting on weight is making it harder to do pushups

Do other tricep exercises to mix it up? Do a week of dips instead then go back to press ups and see if it's any better
