    Management course?
    hey everyone
so this september i will apply for ucas as an A2 student and i decided on choosing management at uni. the only thing that makes me perplexed is that there aren't many only-management course. what i mean is for example in UCL there is "maths with management" and many other variations with management.
well this makes my application quite hard. i wanted to go for those four; LSE (business management), UCL (stats and management), Warwick (management) and Oxford (economics & management). am i doing something smart or stupid? if i choose to do this my ps will be very messy and mixed up by including economics which is irrelevant for LSE, UCL and Warwick.
any suggestions? should i abandon this plan?

With Oxford, a LOT of people who are applying for the E&M course will just be applying for straight economics at the rest of their choices so Oxford expect most of their applicants to just have economics in their personal statements, with maybe a little bit of management. So that puts you in a tough position cause it's the opposite for you. You should also consider "lower tiered" universities as what you've chosen there are all very competitive universities and you don't want to be getting all rejections.

yeh i know e&m is incredibly popular, so i guess i will forget about Oxford .
they are top unis, but i should be safe since i have good grades (2A* and 3As in igcse and 4As predicted for my AS in Eco, P&F Maths and Gov&Pol) . the confusing part is my PS because in UCL it is stats and management and LSE is business management so i can't orientate towards only one sigh

CASS business school do Management BSc.
Read up about that business school, it's part of City university, but it is very well known and regarded.

Just because you have good grades doesn't mean you are 'safe'. Almost all of the applicants to the courses you're applying for will have similar grades so it comes down to other aspects of your application, more notably the PS. Stats can be a part of business management that you can mention. If you're applying to different courses then that is going to make it difficult for your PS. There's nothing we can say to make it easier. If you don't mention stats, then it could look like you're not dedicated to the course, but if you do mention it, the rest of your universities will wonder why you're doing that.
