    Education Psychology or Research
Right now I'm studying BA (Hons) Education and I'm considering my post graduate options. I'm pretty certain I want to stay on for a masters (to help finding a more specific career path) but I want to know about anyone's experiences about going into Education Psychology/Psychology without having done it as an undergraduate? I know a some universities ask for it as a requirement but is it a big disadvantage?

I'm completing a conversion degree and masters via distance learning in Derby, starting in September. I will then probably start looking at education Psychology. I have a degree in English Literature and a PGCE in Further Education. I would have gone straight into a masters but I was told you can't do that if you haven't already got a degree in it? Have you been allowed to?

Obviously I can't give you any advice having not starter Psychology, but I'm so excited.

Oops, I never saw this. Certain courses (definitely the minority) look like they'll accept students from related degrees (mainly education) but I'm still looking into it. Manchester looks like my strongest option if I want to stick with Education Psychology because it means I can gain a GBC status before doing the Doctrate.

    Good luck with Derby!
